Arrived in Dexter yesterday afternoon to visit Fran and John Board, long time friends--ex Austinites. Big evening of visiting, eating, telling stories, and sitting in front of the fire. The Boards live in a house in the middle of 10 acres in the Michigan countryside. The woods around their house is au naturale. Leaves are abundant. More of the same today and tomorrow.
